Invitations were sent to Love INC and The Salvation Army, inviting their patrons to the complimentary meal.
“This event allows individuals who may not have the means to eat out a chance to be waited on,” Jaycees Management Vice President Annie Nurski said.
Nurski also said the dinner proves anyone in the community the opportunity to volunteer time to help neighbors during the holiday season.
“Above all, I really want to thank Chris (Stevenson) the owner of JW’s. She is amazing,” she said.
Nurski raised the funds for the turkey and desserts. She said the assistance of the restaurant owner helps to keep the event popular with volunteers and patrons.
