The church plans to give away more than 4,000 personal care products to families in need Wednesday, Dec. 28. They say they want to help families with basic necessities that are not available for purchase with government assistance, such as Bridge cards and food stamps.

The church will also be drawing names for $25 gas cards to be given to many of their guests at the event.

Doors at the church, 1641 E. Pontaluna Road in Fruitport Township, will open at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Dollar Tree stores in Grand Haven and the Muskegon area are collecting donations for the program until Dec. 27.

Leftover products will be donated to the Love INC pantries in Grand Haven and Muskegon.
