“Many library patrons look forward to the beginning of this annual book club as a way of getting through those doldrums that can result from cold and gloomy winter weather,” Library Director John Martin said.

Adult readers can register and pick up a reading log at the library’s front desk during normal business hours. Those who read 10 books in 10 weeks will receive, while supplies last, this year’s gift: an insulated zippered lunch tote. The gifts are provided by the Friends of Loutit District Library.

Participants may choose their selections from among the library’s collection or request books from other libraries. However, to qualify for the program, the books must be checked out at Loutit District Library.
