The Robert Glasper Experiment features Robert Glasper himself with other musicians. The group has collaborated and performed with a variety of artists and MCs — including Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Kanye West and Beyonce.

The members of the group have been playing together for some time, but they are currently touring in support of their first full-length Robert Glasper Experiment album, “Black Radio.” This album, which will also be released in February, features various artists and vocalists.

The Oregon-based group American Hybrid, featuring 2011 Hope graduate Nate Roberts on guitar, will be opening the night with their own unique and energetic sound.

Tickets are $12 for the general public and $5 for Hope students, and are available online at https://tickets.hope.edu/ticketing and the ticket office in the main lobby of the DeVos Fieldhouse.

The doors will open at 7:30 on the night of the concert.
