‘Owls of Michigan’ to be presented at SL library

Spring Lake District Library will be presenting "Owls of Michigan' at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6.

The program is being held in conjunction with the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway and the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation. Kids of all ages are invited to join the outdoor experts from the Outdoor Discovery Center to learn about owls found in the Michigan night skies. After a reading of Jane Yolen’s

“Owl Moon,” participants will get a firsthand look at live Michigan native owls and taxidermy, and will learn owl calls during this free presentation.

“Owls of Michigan” is made possible with funding by the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.
