The Council on Aging partners with AARP to provide trained volunteers who can assist with basic state and federal tax forms, as well as homestead property and home heating tax credits.
Appointments are required. Those wishing to schedule an appointment to meet with a volunteer at the library will need to call the North Ottawa County Council on Aging at 842-9210.
The library also has federal and state tax forms and instruction booklets for those who are filing their own tax returns.
The library is at 123 E. Exchange St. in Spring Lake.
