A family Dr. Seuss drawing class will begin at 6 p.m. Local artist Corinne Roberts will teach drawing techniques and strategies on how to draw like the zany Dr. Seuss.

All ages are welcome, but children under age 7 need to be accompanied by an adult. There will also be a drawing for Dr. Seuss books and movie tickets for “The Lorax.” Pre-registration is not required.

For more information, visit www.sllib.org or call 846-5770.

The library is located at 123 E. Exchange St. in Spring Lake.

Read Across America Day is an initiative from the National Education Association since 1998.
