Karisa Wilson, vocal and string musician, will be performing from 6-8 p.m. Friday for the exhibit’s opening reception. Free refreshments will be served.

Wilson writes and performs a blend of Indie pop, jazz and blues. She also is a music teacher at Guitar Haven.

Wehmer attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, focusing on clay and fiber art. She attended the Ox-Bow Summer School of Art and fell in love with glass blowing. Her current work focuses on the ideas of and around containment and sustenance. She teaches and makes her work at the Water Street GlassWorks in Benton Harbor.

Zilke is a glass artist living in Benton Harbor. His work focuses on form and the function of historical techniques. He has studied all over the U.S. and spent a lengthy time on Murano Island, Italy, studying Venetian glass.
