Papciak attended the National Women’s History Project conference and now travels to share her knowledge of how women were and are a vital part of history. Her program brings to prominence women who have made a difference and for too long been placed in the side margins of our history books.

Papciak will portray Mary Todd Lincoln, wife of Abraham Lincoln, at the free museum program. Mary Todd Lincoln was a strong, willful woman in her own right, Papciak said — and her life was anything but merely the wife of a president.

Those planning to attend are invited to bring a sack lunch.
