The artwork will be on display through April 12. It is open to the public and admission is free.
Artwork from students in all seven GHAPS elementary schools will be on display at the show. The show will feature paintings, drawings, ceramics and fibers.
“The elementary art show is a great opportunity to showcase the amazing work that our students produce,” said Martha Alexander, who heads the Grand Haven school district’s elementary art department. “It’s incredible what these budding artists produce. Our staff works closely with students to help them produce high-quality works of art, and the art show is a celebration of those collaborative efforts.”
An opening reception for the young artists, family and friends will be held at the Community Center, 421 Columbus Ave., from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27.
