A broken band of lake-effect snow showers stretched from near Muskegon southward out over Lake Michigan. These snow showers were tracking south-southeastward. While accumulations are forecasted to remain under an inch, road surfaces are cold and that could lead to some slick conditions. Drive with added caution.

Today: A 40-percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 9 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 31. North-northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west-southwest.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 33 by 4 a.m. South-southwest wind between 11 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Breezy, with a south wind at 21 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.
