Tornado watch until 11 p.m.

The National Weather Service says large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes are possible this evening. Any thunderstorms would move northeast around 35 mph.

Scattered thunderstorms are also possible Wednesday night through Sunday.

The forecast for the Grand Haven area:

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 9 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 41. West-southwest wind between 8 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 57. West wind at around 14 mph.
