Also closed are St. Marys School and Walden Green.

Those schools with a two-hour delay included: Grand Haven Area Public Schools, Grand Haven Christian School, St. John Lutheran School, Lakeshore Christian, Fruitport, Allendale, Coopersville and Muskegon Catholic.

Spring Lake Public Schools had a half-day scheduled for middle and high school due to exams.

“On half days our students report for just three hours, making a two-hour delay impractical,” Said Spring Lake Schools Superintendent Dennis Furton. “Monday will be a full day, with secondary exams resuming. Parents and students should check e-mail and our website for details.”

The National Weather Service said visibility was reduced to nearly nothing in places this morning. Dense fog advisories were in effect.
