Speak your peace April 17

The public is invited to discuss "Corporations and Individuals: Where is the balance of power?' and explore the impact of the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, recent state voter access laws, and the balance of power between corporations and individuals in our political process.
Apr 11, 2012

The discussion will take place from 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in program room A in the lower level of Loutit District Library, 407 Columbus Ave.

This is the third in a series of eight conversations planned throughout 2012 by the West Michigan Civil Conversation Project. The local effort is designed to provide a place and process for people with wide-ranging views to share and explore ideas on the important issues of the day. The goal is not to come to consensus, but to promote listening and learning and a balance between inquiry and advocacy.
