'Romeo and Juliet' to be staged in Spring Lake

The Grand Haven-based Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company will present Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" at Seven Steps Up, 116 S. Jackson St. in Spring Lake, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27.

The Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company presents Shakespeare’s plays in a lively, audience interactive atmosphere. Each actor plays multiple roles in the production, and the performances feature live music.

"Romeo and Juliet" will be directed by Alisha Huber, a guest artist who comes to the company from Virginia — where she has worked on productions at Mary Baldwin College, James Madison University and the American Shakespeare Center.

The cast features Chaz Albright, Michael Empson, Victoria Everitt, Killian Goodson, Kat Hermes, Zach Johnson, Sean Kelley, Scott Lange, Katherine Mayberry, Rachael Pineiro and Scott Wright.

Tickets are $12 for adults, and $6 for students and senior citizens, and available by calling 850-0916.
