Christine Baker will take the oath of office during the board’s meeting at 7 p.m. at Central High School, 106 S. Sixth St. She was recently appointed to fill the remaining term of Jennifer Williams, who moved to Boston in late February.

The school board will also review improvement initiatives at Central High School, as well as receive updates on its Links and Pathwise programs.

The school board is expected to go into closed session to discuss the “parameters” of four future bargaining groups — including teacher, secretary and administrative associations and service employees — Superintendent Keith Konarska said.

Representatives from the Michigan Association of School Boards will also be at Monday’s meeting to recognize trustees Carl Treutler and Dave Davis for their training achievements.
