Frost advisory again for overnight

(UPDATED: 10:06 p.m. Tuesday) The weather bureau has issued a frost advisory for early Wednesday.

The advisory area includes Ottawa, Kent, Allegan, Ionia, Clinton, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties. More widespread frost is expected farther north.

The advisory is in effect from 2-8 a.m.

The National Weather Service said temperatures will fall to near or slightly below freezy overnight. Damage to unprotected vegetation is likely.

The forecast for the Grand Haven area: Areas of frost after midnight. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 34. Calm wind becoming east at 5-8 mph.

Wednesday: A 20-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a south-southeast wind between 14 and 21 mph.
