For adults that would like to learn first-hand about birding, there is a Beginners Birding Trip from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6. The group will visit a variety of locations in West Michigan to find and identify a diversity of birds, and to see what birding is all about. Transportation is by personal vehicles. There is no fee; however, advanced registration is required and space is limited. A state park passport may be required. A letter with details and meeting location will be sent in advance to those registered. Call 616-786-4847 to register.

For a full schedule of activities, visit www.miottawa.org/parks and click on the "Bird Programs" and "Trips" icon on the home page, or call 616-786-4847.
