The National Weather Service has posted a heat advisory for today, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Inland temperatures will be in the 90s to 100 across the state, with heat indices of 100 to 110.

Today: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 91. Southwest wind around 16 mph.

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South-southwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light after midnight.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. East-northeast wind 6 to 15 mph.
