It takes place at the church, 364 S. Lake Ave. in Spring Lake, from 5-6:30 p.m.

Open to everyone, Second Sunday combines worship, fellowship and learning into a single experience for families and for all generations. A free meal will be served, and child care for children age 5 and younger will also be provided.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for all generations to learn with and from one another,” said the church's pastor, the Rev. Drew Sweetman. “While segregating our learning by age groups can be helpful, I’m excited about how this event will bring all ages together to experience God’s Word. The younger generation has much to learn from the older generation, and vice-versa. Bringing everyone together will be a beautiful thing.”

During the first five events, the theme will be “Enter the Tabernacle,” learning about how God was present to the Hebrew people of the Old Testament, and how he is present with his people today.
