Pets blessed in Spring Lake

Animals of all breeds and sizes were blessed on Tuesday.

Pet owners gathered for “Blessing of the Pets” at 9 a.m. in the school parking lot “green space” at St. Mary’s Parish School in Spring Lake.

Father Dan DePew, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, led a ceremony before blessing the pets with holy water.

“Blessing of the Pets” follows the teaching of St. Francis by honoring the love people have for animals.

We should love animals as the make this world so beautiful,there are lots of things in which they help us and also teach us,so we should care them,visit the site to get some fine blessings and lots more quotes.
