Event for those with Alzheimer’s set for Oct. 18

The Little Red House, Oak Crest and Spring Lake District Library are partnering to provide programs designed for individuals experiencing Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia and their caregivers.

The next event will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Spring Lake District Library, 123 E. Exchange St.

The Grand Haven Strings will perform. Members of the musical group include: Kathy Messenger, hammered dulcimer, flute, penny whistle and recorder; Carol Kimball and David Jorgensen, acoustic guitar; Janice Carlson, fiddle; Laura Hollar, autoharp; and Carol and Phil Hollar, hammered dulcimer.
