Joe Elder is the purveyor of Skipjack's Nautical Wares and Marine Gallery in Portsmouth, Va. He likes to repurpose the paraphernalia for the traditional coastal home.

In his latest blog, he details an old maritime lantern from the maker of the Fresnel lens used in many lighthouses, including Grand Haven's.
