The event takes place at the Grand Haven Community Center, 421 Columbus Ave., from 3-7 p.m. All proceeds will go to the TLC (Taya Lee Cook) Fund.

Cook was recently released from Helen DeVos Children's Hospital after a serious viral infection. She is undergoing four hours of therapy each week in Grand Rapids.

Taya’s mom, Kristen Cook, said donations would be used for therapy equipment and transportation expenses. Kristen said the family is currently driving a borrowed vehicle in need of repairs.

"I was trying to save up for a wheelchair-ready vehicle, but this last hospital stay took all those savings," she said.
