A source told WZZM-TV that several tanks, possibly holding thousands of gallons of animal waste, spilled at Den Dulk Farms, 4812 Wunsch Road.

DEQ officials in Grand Rapids said they received an anonymous emergency call about the spill Monday afternoon. An expert was scheduled to survey the manure spill this morning.

Luis Saldivia of the Department of Environmental Quality said it does not appear that the nearby Crockery Creek is affected. However, because of weather conditions, a water quality expert was dispatched to the scene.
