The National Weather Service said snow showers will continue, with additional accumulations of about 2 inches late this afternoon.
The weather bureau said north-northwest winds will continue to blow and drift snow. Driving conditions may still be hazardous in some areas because of snow-covered roads and sometimes reduced visibility.
The forecast for the Grand Haven area:
Tonight: Snow showers likely, mainly before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 12. Wind chill values as low as zero. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as zero. North wind 5 to 13 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon.
