Police said they went to check on the truck after someone reported seeing it parked about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and it was still there the next day. There were no signs of foul play.

Earle was slumped over into the passenger's seat. It's not known when he died, and the cause of death won't be known until toxicology reports are returned.

One ticket was from 2:40 a.m. Wednesday and one from 2:23 a.m. Thursday.

Police will interview the city employee who issued the tickets.

Talk about hell bent on generating income for the city. They can smell booze on your breath from 20' away, but oblivious to a corpse stretch out in the front seat of a truck at 3 in the morning. I believe you would have to strech across the friggin' windshield to slip the ticket under the wiper blade of a truck, right? This would put one's nose at about 8" from the windshield glass looking directly at the deceased. Nah, nuttin' showin' dispatch.

FYI dyankee, other news outlets with this story say it is a privatized company that issued the parking tickets for the city of K-zoo, not the police. Point your indignation in the proper direction. LOL

My indignation is at the City for being hell bent on generating income. My sarcasm is being critical of the human element. Does not really matter if it is the Sheriff Dept., State Police, or a Central City Parking employee hence, the reference to "they" versus an official agency. Am I indignating in the right direction now, your honor?

GHJames

Yep.

Thank you.
