The spring/summer issue of the "Pure Michigan" guide identified the location of a photo showing three men on stand-up paddleboards as being in St. Joseph. The photo was actually taken along the Lake Michigan shoreline just north of Holland State Park.

Sally Laukitis, executive director of the Holland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, said the cover spot reaffirms Holland as a hot tourism spot. She said it was corrected online.

Michelle Begnoche, a spokeswoman for the state's "Pure Michigan" tourism effort, said state officials regret Holland wasn't correctly identified. She said the photo aims to represent the state's offerings "rather than a specific locality."
