Bridge work to impact traffic on Seaway Drive

Work on the Seaway Drive bridge over Black Creek in the Muskegon area will squeeze traffic to a single lane for nearly two months.

The Michigan Department of Transportation said the bridge improvement project will begin Monday, April 29. It is scheduled to be completed by June 17.

The planned bridge improvements include deck resurfacing and approach reconstruction.

Business Route 31 (Seaway Drive) will have one lane open in each direction between Getty Street in Muskegon Heights and Grand Haven Road in Norton Shores.
