Thunderstorm watch lifted

The severe thunderstorm watch for Michigan's Lower Peninsula, including Ottawa County, has been lifted. But we still have a very good chance of seeing showers and storms.

The forecast for the Grand Haven area:

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. South-southwest wind 10 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. South wind 8 to 10 mph.
