11. Harvard: Students turn on Obama, want him recalled, reject Obamacare

The Obama thrill is gone among America’s millennials aged 18-29 just a year after they helped the president win a second term.

A new and shocking poll from Harvard University's Institute of Politics released Wednesday found that younger Americans are so disgusted with President Obama, Congress and the troubled Obamacare system that 47 percent support recalling the president and just 29 percent are planning to sign up for health insurance.

"A critical factor in the election and reelection of Barack Obama, America's 18- to 29- year-olds now rate the president's job performance closer to that of Congress -- and at the lowest level since he took office in 2009," said Harvard Institute of Politics Director Trey Grayson. ashingtonexaminer.com/harvard-millennials-want-obama-recalled-wont-sign-up-for-obamacare/article/2540139

Lanivan

I can tell you unequivocally, I shall never vote for the man again.

Vladtheimp

Well, you've already done enough damage as it is but I consider you a woman of your word and expect you to forgo voting for BHO when he extends his lawless approach to governance and tries to run for a third term - Thank you!

With respect to his lawlessness, this is the interesting view of some legal experts, both liberal and conservative:http://legalinsurrection.com/201...

Barry Soetoro

Yeah, I was going to tell her she may have to eat those words.....

Lanivan

A person is only as good as their word.

Vladtheimp

LOL "If you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it - period."

Lanivan

Laughter is the best medicine.

Lanivan

I'm sorry, I just can't help it. It's totally out of my hands....really..don't let any kids running around read this....love JB.

The reason he's looking: http://youtu.be/NmRXH7RkCZQ

Lanivan

He doesn't seem drunk to me.

Vladtheimp

And not quite as funny, but timely: Federal Reserve: Gov’t Shutdown Did Not Hurt US Economy http://sweetness-light.com/archi...

Lanivan

But this blogger and commenters do (10:57 a.m. link).

Vladtheimp

Just imparting the latest analysis from the Federal Reserve. As far as Uncle Joe not appearing to be drunk - how can you tell?

Lanivan

As for Joe-Joe, that's my point exactly. He's the coolest guy in the room.

As for your Federal Reserve link, let's not start backing up now. The whole purpose of a government shutdown while holding hostages was a zombie apocalypse, so why start flinging facts and figures about how bad it really wasn't, really.

Candy aft conservatives!

Barry Soetoro

Sorry I didn't read the whole thing. I got distracted and clicked on the ad for the Bad Idea T Shirts. By the time I was done with that I forgot what I was doing.

LessThanAmused

Yikes! I did the same thing!

I think I'm going to have to capitalize on that "buy 3 get 6 free" deal. That's too good to pass up!

Lanivan

It's awfully sweet of you to order me a T-shirt for Christmas. My #2 choice is..."Well, another day passed and I didn't use Algebra once".

Barry Soetoro

Dang it, L! I already ordered this one:

Hopefully they have free shipping on returns....

Lanivan

I think we can salvage this major faux pas. I ordered this one for you - we can just trade!

http://www.badideatshirts.com/IM...

Barry Soetoro

Nice! And here I was expecting to see the one that says "There's a village in Kenya......."

LessThanAmused

Hey! I already ordered that one as part of my "buy 3 get 6 free" deal!

The wife says it fits me to a T (shirt). :-)

Lanivan

I picked up some great deals, too. For you - "I did not mean to offend you, that was just a bonus". Vlad - "I never argue, I just explain why I'm right". Tri-Cities Realist - "Department of Redundancy Department".

And for me, "I was going to take over the world, but then I saw something shiny".

LessThanAmused

HA! You've been taking notes, you've got us all pegged.

...I'm not going to tell you the one you picked for me was one of my free ones. :)

Lanivan

Oh good, now you'll have a clean one for when you get onion blossom dipping sauce on the other...8:>

LessThanAmused

Wow, that mom gene is working overtime today....

Lanivan

I knew you'd get my emoticon - "Another nagging woman smiling"!

Tri-cities realist

Redundancy? I thought I deserved something better, I'll go sulk now.

Lanivan

No sulking! My thought was that you often state you are opposed to Big Gubmint, waste, inefficiencies, etc.....thus "Department of Redundancy Department" (which, btw, I think is hilarious - so much for my sense of humor). It wasn't directed at YOU, although now that you bring it up.....

Just Kidding!!

Tri-cities realist

Ah, I get it now, a little slow on my part. Now it makes sense, good one!

Do you collect Social Security benefits Vlad? Looks like not many liked that idea when it started either, what did you think back then? What do you think about living off the young people? Prime example was the 1st recipient of SS who donated $24.75 from her paychecks her 3 working years before retiring and making her claim. She lived to be 100, collected SS for 35 years which totaled $22,888.92.
People with insurance will die, people without insurance will die. Let those oh-so-smart Haaavad primps not sign up for insurance, then need it, but because they don't have it, we have to foot the bill for these pretentious primadonnas. Hope you get that.
