The National Weather Service has posted a winter storm watch for Michigan's Lower Peninsula, including Ottawa County, from 1 p.m. Saturday through 1 p.m. Sunday.
More freezing rain and snow will arrive Saturday afternoon and continue through Sunday afternoon. Travel will be impacted by icy roads Saturday night and Sunday.
At this time, hazardous winter weather is possible but not imminent, the weather bureau said. Travel conditions may deteriorate quickly if hazardous weather does occur, so it is important to monitor the latest forecast.

Saturday: Cloudy, with a high near 34. East-northeast wind 7 to 13 mph.
Saturday night: Snow. Low around 29. East-northeast wind around 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.
Sunday: Snow, mainly before 1 pm. High near 31. East wind 7 to 15 mph becoming west in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of around 3 inches.
Sunday night: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 20.
