Periods of light snow and freezing drizzle will continue overnight, the weather bureau said late Thursday. A light glaze of ice can be expected.

The impact of the weather includes slippery roads and poor travel conditions. Officials say motorists should plan accordingly by allowing extra time to make it home or to other activities.

Overnight: Periods of snow and freezing drizzle. Cloudy, with a low around 18. Breezy, with a west-northwest wind 15 to 21 mph.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 22. West wind 8 to 10 mph.

Friday night: A 50 percent chance of snow, mainly after 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 20. Calm wind becoming east-northeast around 6 mph after midnight.
