The Allendale school hosted a special event to celebrate twins who are students.

The school says there are 101 sets of twins this year, and 52 sets of currently enrolled twin students showed up for the event. They were joined by 12 sets of twins who are alumni and even a few infant twins.

A group photo has captured the event at the campus arena.

Kim Schmidt of the university's alumni office said that 101 is "just a cool statistic." She said campus number-crunchers were able to come up with the figure by checking records for students with the same last name and date of birth.
