The festivities will kick off with a Green March at 12:15 p.m. The march will start at the County Courthouse parking lot and proceed down Washington Avenue to First Street, then up Columbus Avenue. It will conclude at the Community Center, where the Earth Day Fair will be set up.

The march includes walkers, a solar-powered car and an electric car. The group is inviting Girl Scout/Boy Scout troops, bicycle clubs, school-based environmental organizations, as well as every citizen who wishes to show support for worldwide efforts in sustainability and the health of our Earth. Pets are also welcome.

At the conclusion of the march, check out the displays and booths at the Community Center. The Earth Day Fair is from 1-4 p.m.

From 4-7 p.m. in Grand Haven’s Central Park, the Earth Rock Concert will feature local musicians and poets. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Community Center.
