Revenge porn or cyber revenge involves publishing graphic images of a person online, usually with the intention of harassing the subject or hurting that person's reputation. Ex-boyfriends, ex-girlfriends and hackers often post the photos or videos.

The bills would make it illegal to post those images online without the subject's written permission.

The national Cyber Civil Rights Initiative says similar laws exist in three states and are under consideration in several state legislatures.

Bill sponsor Sen. Rick Jones, R-Grand Ledge, said "everyone deserves to have their privacy protected" and cyber revenge is "a growing problem in America that affects both men and women."

This will most likely pass - but what is the cost/benefit? for this law. It is wrong what happens. But if some guy/gal is stupid enough take personal pictures in first place, then load them up on their personal phone. They deserve what ever they get. That should be the punishment. Not incarcerating the person at $32,000 per year. $8,000 for prosecutorial costs which we pay out of our tax dollars. I writing Amanda Price & Meekoff & to vote NO! And to Snyder to not sign it. This is stupid and its going to cost us fortunes because some idiots want to take off their clothes and load up the pictures and then cry about it. Let em cry! Don't take our taxes us taxpayers earn for their mistakes.

Let say your wife fooling around with her phone takes a picture in the shower you don't realize or forget about it then what.
