Best week of the year to get out of Grand Haven! Strollers, skateboards, bicycles, dogs, traffic, crowds, inconsiderate people and the list goes on.... Nothing like getting treated like crap by local businesses and non-residents!!!

I'll just bet you're fun at parties!

Take a poll of who stays in Grand Haven during C.G. week, you would be surprised how many people feel the same!!!!

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, pickles my peppers more than strollers! Damn babies in their cushy seats on wheels and the relative ease in which their parents push them around. I mean, c'mon babies! What's your problem, can't walk?

Makes me sick just thinking about it.

I personally LOVE Coast Guard week and look forward to it. It brings a lot of money to the area and its just a lot of fun. Anyone who lives here knows you should plan ahead a little for that week (ie.. trips to Meijers, gassing up the car, planning parking for your friends...) so that you can embrace it rather than fight it. Our town is small enough you can walk just about anywhere with ease if you use proper crosswalks.

Don’t need a poll. You and the many people would still complain if you were not hung with a new rope.

ya, i was going to say something like that, but i will behave myself, i am suppose to be the happycamper

I like going down once or twice... take a bike for Spring Lake, much easier to deal with that trying to drive.

Does GH have two Meijer stores or did they add an "S" to their name?

How sad your life must be...

I prefer Thrifty Acres, I'm old school like that.

It's an ill-silent S.

Is that similar to the state south and west of us, Illannoys?
