Several Coast Guard Festival events canceled, postponed due to weather

Several Coast Guard Festival events scheduled for today and Wednesday have been canceled or postponed due to the high possibility of rain and thunderstorms. Coast Guard Festival officials announced this morning the cancellation of tonight's Youth Ambassador Program and Wednesday night's performance of the Ransom Street Band at Waterfront Stadium.

The Grand City Skiers show, scheduled for 7 tonight at Waterfront Stadium, and the Street Dance, scheduled from 8-10:30 p.m. tonight on Washington Avenue, have been postponed. Both shows have been rescheduled for Wednesday night at the same time.

So they cancelled the Ransom Street Band for 'possible' rain/thunderstorms, but instead moved the water skiers to that time slot? Doesn't make much sense to me. Something seems a bit fishy.
