Lakeshore Middle School Destination ImagiNation team prepares for Saturday’s state contest

After placing first out of nine middle school teams at the Region 4 competition at Mona Shores High School on March 19, the Lakeshore Middle School Destination ImagiNation team will compete in the state Affiliate Finals on Saturday at Holt High School. Assistant Team Manager Tina McGinnis said the Lakeshore Middle School DI squad is a well-seasoned team.

“This team took one year off and are now reunited as middle schoolers,” she said. “It is the same team that twice made it to the Global Finals (as Mary A. White Elementary School students), and they are excited about getting through Saturday and hopefully moving on in the competition.”
