“This event brings families together,” DesJardin said. “This is a great family event for people who would not be able to afford a night out.”
SLPS Superintendent Dennis Furton, awaiting being a target in the pie-throwing event, said there’s no way he could save face.
“I’m going to take the pie like a champ,” he said.
