The GHHS Symphony Orchestra, as well as the alternative string group GOTAK, will be playing rock’n’roll music at its fall concert.

The event begins with a “Dessert Before the Show” at 6 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m.

Melissa Meyers, GHHS music director, said there will be an audience costume competition in which prizes will be awarded. She said a separate competition will be held for the orchestra students.

The musicians will be playing rock music from the Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Michael Jackson, Elvis, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Queen and Lady GaGa.

The concert is free, but donations will be accepted at the door.
