In order to make room for full-day kindergarten and students in the Young Fives program beginning in the next school year, district officials are proposing to move fifth grade out of the elementary schools. The proposal would have White Pines Middle School hold grades 5-6 and Lakeshore Middle School hold grades 7-8.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at Lakeshore Middle School, 900 S. Cutler Ave.

The school board will also discuss the kindergarten and Young Fives programming, as well as improvement efforts at Lakeshore Middle School.
