After reviewing data from more than 19,400 public high schools nationally, U.S. News & World Report ranked Spring Lake High School No. 19 and Grand Haven High School No. 25 in the state.

Nationally, Spring Lake High School is ranked No. 747 and Grand Haven High School is ranked No. 813.

Both high schools received a silver medal based on their performance on state assessments and how well students are prepared for college.

Congratulations on what has been accomplished! Now, let’s get busy in reaching the top 5 in the state and top 100 in the country. When these goals are attained, then we can work on being the best.

This is great news. Congratulations to Spring Lake and Grand Haven on this great accomplishment. Good news for our students ... good news for our community.

I don't understand why there is no link inserted that takes you to the US News and World Report online so we can see the article? In the age of digital media, this seems a little silly.
