Top 5 things to do this weekend

1.) Grand Haven Offshore Challenge - All day at Chinook Pier-Grand River Channel, Saturday-Sunday. Pro-Am tournament.

2.) Spring Lake Wooden Boat Show - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Mill Point Park, end of School Street, Spring Lake. Features more than 30 vessels, a boat building activity for kids, live entertainment and a boat parade.

3.) Train rides - 1:30 p.m. Saturday departure. Coopersville & Marne Railway, 311 Danforth St., Coopersville. Adults: $11.50, seniors: $10.50, kids 2-12: $9.50 and Kids under 2 free.

4.) 9th annual Run for Wings 5K run/walk - 8 a.m. Saturday at Muskegon County Airport (Executive Air Transport), 99 Sinclair Drive, Muskegon. Cost: $25-$30 per person.

5.) Family Trail Ride at Hofma Preserve - Noon Saturday at Hofma Preserve, 16295 Sleeper St., Grand Haven. Learn bike safety and have your bike inspected.
