SLHS band, choir fundraiser planned Nov. 11

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with initial entertainment being provided by student band and choir groups. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Music by The Hip Pocket, featuring SLHS band director Mike Truszkowski, will start at 8:30 p.m. There will also be a cash bar.

The event includes a silent auction with a large selection of items including: a two-night stay at a Boyne Mountain cabin, Lenovo all-in-one Think Center with a 19-inch screen, one-month unlimited yoga package, catered Irish dinner for six in your home, in-home jewelry-making class for six, two-night golf package for two in Ludington, three-hour Lake Michigan cruise aboard a 36-foot American Tug, and a large giclee reproduction of Nell Revel Smith’s “Northern Cottage Garden.” There will also be 50 other items including gift baskets, gift certificates, works of art, memory foam pillows and concert tickets.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at the Spring Lake High School office, or by calling 296-1192. For those wanting participate in the event without dinner, the charge is $20 and entry will be allowed at 8:30 p.m.

The deadline for purchasing tickets is Nov. 9.
