“We’re creating memories that will last a lifetime,” said Jill Vander Stel, NORA recreation coordinator.

A Mother-Daughter Tea is scheduled for this coming weekend. Mothers and daughters start out by getting a professional photo done, then design a Victorian fan and hair piece, try on vintage hats and dresses, are instructed in proper manners and etiquette, and enjoy a lunch and fashion show.

Girls should also plan to bring their favorite doll and wear their festive tea hat to the event.

For any questions, or to register, call NORA at 616-850-5125. Registrations are also accepted at the NORA office, 1415 Beechtree St. in Grand Haven.

Additional recreation programs can be viewed on the NORA website:  nora.ghaps.org
