(1) Agricultural Exposition — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Tri-Cities Historical Museum, 200 Washington Ave., Grand Haven. Visitors will learn about the importance of commercial agriculture in Ottawa County and West Michigan. Admission is free. Find out why Ottawa is the largest ag-producing county in Michigan and what we bring to the nation's table.

(2) Walk MS Grand Haven — Saturday morning at the United Methodist Church of the Dunes, 717 Sheldon Road in Grand Haven. The site opens at 9 a.m. and the opening ceremony is at 9:45. The three-mile walk begins at 10. When you participate in Walk MS, the funds you raise give hope to the more than 19,000 people living with MS in our community. For details, CLICK HERE.

(3) Tails on Trails Dog Walk — 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Kirk Park, 9791 Lakeshore Ave., West Olive. Bring your four-legged buddy and take the walk (registration fee is $25). Register online at harborhumane.org/dogwalk/. The funds are used to support Harbor Humane Society's many animal welfare and community outreach programs. The event also includes discounted microchipping, contests, a raffle, information booths and refreshments.

(4) Lee Murdock — 2 p.m. Sunday at Loutit District Library, 407 Columbus Ave., Grand Haven. This free concert features the Great Lakes folk music of Murdock, who sings of the rugged days of lumberjacks and wooden sailing schooners.

(5) Hannah Thomas — 8 p.m. Friday at Seven Steps Up, 116 S. Jackson St., Spring Lake. Thomas, who opened for the Indigo Girls the night before at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, began performing in 2006 at age 16 when she wasn’t even old enough to be in most of the venues. With influences like Johnny Cash and Terri Clark, Heart and even Aerosmith, it’s easy to understand why Thomas' music is so hard to label. Tickets are $22 at the door for this Pin Drop Concert.
