The Bunny Train runs Saturdays and Sundays, April 5-6 and 12-13; and on Friday, April 18.

The train ride offers a journey through springtime countryside between Coopersville and Marne. The Easter Bunny bounces into each train car with a whacky musical cast, playfully joking with passengers and posing for photos.

The show stars actress Angela Peavey, who has been performing as the Easter Bunny since its conception.

“I’m excited to be celebrating 10 years of the Bunny Train,” she said. “Singing and dancing with children during our show and watching their faces light up when I enter is awesome to experience.”

Each child will receive a special gift from the Easter Bunny during the excursion.

“BooBoo the Lamb and Quack the Duck will also be by my side,” Peavey said. “We’ll sing classic and new Easter songs while interacting with the audience and giving out a gift to the kids.”

BooBoo the Lamb will be played this year by actress Elizabeth Mathias and Quack the Duck will be played by actor Mitchell Todd.

The train departs from the station at 311 Danforth St. in downtown Coopersville at 1 and 3 p.m., and also at 11 a.m. on Saturdays. It runs at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. April 18.

Tickets are $14.50 for adults and $13.50 for ages 2-12. Little ones age 2 and younger are free. Tickets can be bought at the depot, or in advance by calling 616-997-7000 or online at MiTrain.net.
