More on the pier lights

Chuck of Grand Haven asked, "What is the schedule for when the lights are turned on/off for the Grand Haven south pier?"

ANSWER:

Sun up and sun down, assuming you mean the catwalk lights.

"They run off of a photo eye, so they come on and off automatically at dusk and dawn," explained Dan Vivian, the facilities manager for the City of Grand Haven.

Isn't that a cool pic? It was taken by Mark S. Schroeder.
