When does Beach Express run?

Christie of Grand Haven Township asked, "I've seen the Beach Express signs around the city, but when exactly does it operate?"

ANSWER:

The Harbor Transit Beach Express is a great way to get to the beach while leaving the parking hassle behind.

In its second season this summer, the bus service picks up riders about every 10 or 15 minutes between noon and 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in the parking lot on Taylor Avenue, west of Beacon Boulevard and across the street from the Automatic Spring Products facility. It's about a 10-minute ride to City Beach.

The roundtrip cost is $1.
